25th Infantry Bicycle Corps - Ranger Roger Osorio of the Charles Young Buffalo Soldiers National Monument, in Wilberforce, Ohio will share the story of the 25th Infantry Regiment Bicycle Corps who in 1896 completed a 1,900-mile journey from Montana to Missouri.

Cycle Kettering Community Rides 2024

In Partnership with the Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department

Sun, August 25, 3pm (3-5pm) Cycle Kettering Community Ride #5 of 2024 The ride starts/ends at the Kettering Recreation Complex. Ride Leader Eileen Maloney will be guiding us on a search for ice cream heading towards the Dayton Kettering Connector as we will ramble along at a “no sweat” pace for around 10-12 miles.

Community Rides are held in coordination with Kettering Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Department. For more info about this ride and future rides, visit the Cycle Kettering Website or the KPRCAD Spring 2024 Program Guide and search for Sun, August 25, 3pm (02-30600-E) to register.

To register create a user account and log into the Kettering Parks Recreation and Cultural Arts Department website and search on bicycle or the activity code. ** Note the start and end locations are different than the advertised Lathrem Senior Center location. The rides start and end at the Kettering Recreation Center.

Cycle Kettering Community Rides 2023

Sunday July 9 - 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM - Bike Centerville & Cycle Kettering unite for an extended ride through Kettering and into Oakwood and Dayton. Some cyclists on the Kettering Community rides have asked about longer more challenging rides. Iron Horse Park, Centerville, 21 miles - "Sight-seeing" pace, +/- 10mph
