Group Ride Leaders

For Community Rides in partnership with the Kettering Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Department.  Lead or “sweep” a casual 10 mile ride with 15 participants around Kettering to our local parks.  Sundays, 3 - 5:30 pm on selected Sunday afternoons each month in April through Sept..  Must be a Kettering Volunteer and participate in a 3 hour ride leaders training   More Details about Community Rides.    Link to Kettering Volunteer Application

Volunteer Opportunities with Cycle Kettering

STEM Rides - TBD May 2025, Ride with in support of the school age riders from the Dayton STEM school to local attractions typically within 10 miles of the school on Woodman in Kettering.

Kettering Block Party TBD, 2025 – The Kettering Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) and Cycle Kettering plan to share a table at the event to share information about cycling in Kettering.. The event is at Lincoln Park Commons. Need 1 Cycle Kettering Volunteer from 5:30 – 8:00 pm.


Holiday at Home TBD, 2025 – BPAC and Cycle Kettering will share and staff a table on Labor Day Weekend from 10 am – 6 pm to share information about cycling in Kettering. The event is at Lincoln Park Commons. The day will be split into two shifts: 10 am – 2 pm and 2 pm– 6 pm. Need 2 Cycle Kettering Volunteers, one for each shift.


ECOFEST TBD, 2025BPAC and Cycle Kettering will share and staff a table for this fall event - 11 am – 3 pm to share information about cycling in Kettering. The event is at Lincoln Park Commons. The day will be split into two shifts: 10 am – 2 pm and 2 pm– 6 pm. Need 2 Cycle Kettering Volunteers, one for each shift.
